WANDA SELLAR

Wanda Sellar obtained her Diploma in Crystal Healing from the International College of Crystal Healing and has worked with crystals in various clinics. She also completed a course in gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.

A holistic therapist, past life regressionist and astrologer for many years, she has taught astrology and crystal healing for the North Essex Adult Community College, and various other education institutions. She has given several talks on both crystal divination and crystal healing over the past two years and run workshops both in London and Essex.

Wanda is currently working on a book on crystal healing and divination. To-date she has written 'The Directory of Essential Oils', 'Frankincense and Myrrh - with Martin Watt (Daniels/Random House) and ''The Consultation Chart' (Wessex Astrologer).

Wanda became the first female president of the Astrological Lodge of London (ALL) in 1996, 70 years after its inception, a position she held for 6 years. Before that she was the secretary of the ALL and was instrumental in putting together its programme over 12 years. She edits a newsletter on medicine and astrology for the Astrological Association of Gt. Britain.

Prior to her involvement in the holistic field, just over 20 years ago, she worked for the Mirror newspaper assisting columnists Marjorie Proops and latterly Dr Miriam Stoppard on the readers' page helping readers' with problems and issues of a diverse nature. She is also a trained counsellor and has a Diploma in Psychology from the Institute of Education (London University).

She has found that within crystal divination, she can utilise many of the ideas she has acquired from her varied studies, associating crystals with their anecdotal, scientific, astrological connections, as well as looking at the significance of the colour and shape of crystals.
